Trediberri - Rocche dell'Annunziata Barolo DOCG 2021
Capturing the supreme finesse this celebrated cru is known for as well as the vibrance, great fruit and balance of the fantastic vintage, the fragrant Trediberri 2021 Rocche dell’Annunziata is a beautiful wine. It imparts intense aromas of violet, dog rose, wild berry, dark spice and menthol while the full-bodied, elegant and delicious palate delivers ripe Morello cherry, raspberry compote, licorice and mint. It’s well balanced, with taut, refined tannins and fresh acidity. Drink 2031–2041.

The 2021 Barolo Rocche Dell'Annunziata is a medium red color and offers gorgeous, pure aromas of anise, fresh cherries, pressed flowers, wet stones, and graphite on the nose. A powerful vintage, but within La Morra, it has real structure, with velvety, ripe tannins, fully dry, even acidity, and a long finish, with just a hint of sunny darker fruits and purple flowers. Since I last tasted this a year ago, it’s come into focus and offers lots of clarity. It will likely continue to improve over the coming 20 or more years. (Drink between 2025-2045)
James Suckling: 96 Points
A complex wine with aromas of licorice, cinnamon, red currants and sweet violets. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows elegant, velvety tannins of rare finesse at this point of evolution, with long, refreshing acidity and a lavish finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2026 or 2027.
