Appearance: Straw yellow (paglierino), sometimes with greenish reflections.
Aroma / Nose: Fruity and floral: apple, pear, white peach, melon; also citrus touches; aromas of orange blossom / white flowers; sometimes herbs or Mediterranean flora. Slight hint of pine in some versions.
Palate: Dry, well‑structured, warm but balanced with good freshness. There is a noticeable acidity (zesty or crisp), some salinity or “sapid" element, fruit carried through, often with a lingering floral or herbal note.
Pairings: seafood, shellfish, fish carpaccio / tartare, grilled or fried fish, light poultry, white meats (veal / pork), fresh cheeses, vegetable dishes (especially with herbs), antipasti. Also good as aperitif.
