Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Description
Pure and effusive, this shows toasted hazelnuts, pear confit, lemon zest and quinine. The palate feels satiny and palate-coating before it glides into a satisfyingly dry and crunchy finish. These vines were planted in 2004.

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot 1er Cru has a wonderful, lively bouquet with effervescent white peach, quince, citrus peel and lemon thyme scents, a sense of mineralité surfacing with aeration. The palate is very well-balanced with fine delineation. There’s complex and captivating mineral-rich citric fruit with seamlessly integrated oak on the finish. This is one of my picks from the Domaine in this vintage.
