Wine Advocate: 93 Points
Pure and precise, the 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Séchet mingles aromas of green apple and white flowers with hints of toasted nuts and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, it's satiny and enveloping, with bright acids and a saline finish. More immediate and demonstrative than usual, it remains one of the highlights of the range.
Vinous: 91 Points
The 2022 Chablis Les Séchets 1er Cru has a very expressive bouquet of peach and light mango scents commingling with wet stone. The palate is very well-balanced, with hints of tropical fruit. Very seductive, with a touch of fennel right on the finish. Lovely.
Burghound: 91 Points
The hallmark citrus nuances are abundantly present on the nose of mostly petrol, iodine and wet stone. The rich yet racy medium weight flavors possess very good delineation while exuding an appealing minerality on the clean, dry and persistent finale. This balanced effort could also use more depth so a few years of keeping should help.
Wine Spectator: 91 Points
Peach and melon flavors highlight this juicy white, with mineral and wild herb accents. Backed by lively acidity, this is open and persists on the lemon-tinged finish. Drink now through 2027. 325 cases made, 70 cases imported.
