The Maragona Lugana is the winery's calling card. It comes from various locations in the Cantina Maragona, in the hills of the Lugana growing area. The Turbiana vines for this wine have an average age of around 25 years and grow on calcareous clay soils.
The aromas of Lugana Maragona are reminiscent of yellow fruits such as apricot and quince, with a delicate note of pepper. On the palate it is fresh and powerful, the juiciness is balanced by mineral elegance, the finish is long and in perfect balance. Makes you want the next sip. For many connoisseurs this is the best standard Lugana on the market.
