Literaia Description
This wine uses the grapes from the youngest Sangiovese vines that grow right next to Trebbiano. They are picked together and spontaneously co-fermented with native yeast together in the ancient Tuscan tradition. Aged for a few months in stainless steel the wine is then bottled and designed to drink young. Andrea and the winemaker worked together on this vintage to add a drop more Trebbiano to the blend with the results being a fresh vibrant red that can be also be served chilled in the summer. Other than a small dose of SO2 there are no additives, interventions or manipulations in the winemaking process.
88% Sangiovese - 12% Trebbiano Toscano
