Dark ruby garnet color. Aromas and flavors of leather and cedar, chimichurri on grilled steak, purple flowers, and dried blueberries with a satiny, crisp, dry medium-to-full body and a warming, interesting, medium-long finish manifesting shades of blueberry and black berry, green pepper, dried leaves, and tobacco with earthy, dusty, medium tannins and a suggestion of oak flavor. An earthy and savory red wine with plentiful notes of dried herbs, tart red fruit, and hints of tobacco; this is a wine that demands some steak.
