Greywacke Description
Enticing aromas of cassis, lemon sorbet and green mango, with a delicate dusting of white pepper spice. On the palate, juicy Winter Cole pear and baked apple pie notes are lifted by fragrant layers of elderflower, yuzu and ripe citrus. An elegant yet striking interpretation of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - textural and opulent, lifted and lingering.
Wine Advocate: 94 Points
"The 2025 Sauvignon Blanc leads with a soft nose of musk sticks and brine, green apple skins, wet linen and green olive tapenade. In the mouth, the wine is tightly coiled and yet textured by pithy phenolics. The length of the flavor is long, as we have come to expect from Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc. This is a superb wine in any vintage. Greywacke is a member of the Appellation Marlborough Wine (AMW). 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap."
James Suckling: 93 Points
"A flavorful, focused and textural sauvignon blanc with papayas, limes and stones on the nose. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Lively and succulent, with a precise palate and a long finish."
