Château Lauriga is owned by Languedoc superstar Paul Mas, whose mission has been to elevate the prestige of his home territory to compete with other top French regions. This wine comes from the estate's top parcels. 70% Syrah, 20% Carignan and 10% Grenache. Grapes undergo a carbonic maceration prior fermentation to emphasize fruity aromas. There is no oak aging either, to preserve the freshness and fruity aspects. After a few years in bottle, this wine shows some depth and savory/meaty tones too
