Vinous: 92 Points
he 2021 Tinto Histórico DV Catena is a blend of 75% Malbec, 18% Bonarda and 7% Petit Verdot from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley and was aged for eight months in new and used barrels. It’s garnet red in the glass. The ripe, liqueur-like nose offers sour cherry and plum notes leavened by fresh herbal notes over a pleasant secondary layer from the aging process. Quite smooth with good volume, the flow is juicy yet a little compressed in the mouth
