Overview: The beloved biodynamically farmed Beeswax Vineyard, located in Arroyo Seco is where this Picpoul Blanc hails from. This Picpoul, which translates to lip stinger, has its bracing acidity enhanced by the vineyard's proximity to the cool breezes of Carmel. The grape is utilized throughout the south of France on its own or within cuvee. Aromatically the wine is bright with notes of salty air and bright lemony-limey goodness. On the palate, the wine has delightful acidity that dances along the tongue with an almost briny, mouth-watering finish.
Tasting Notes: Strong chiseled stone aromas meet with light nectarine and Tuscan melon on the nose of this bottling. Clean and delicate on the palate, the wine's bright and tense form surrounds peach and riper green-apple flavors.
