Wine Advocate: 93 Points
93% Tinto Fino, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a big yield so up to 40% green harvest was practised at Vega, giving this quality. An exuberant nose, beautifully 'out', open and attractive. My comment was, 'this is all over you like a Labrador puppy'! Fresh and full of winning ways. A lovely fine-grained texture. You can broach this from now with enormous pleasure and always drink it before the 1999 and 1998.
