Don Américo García Núñez grew up amidst wine barrels. And from the moment he founded the winery, he set out to uphold the tradition established by his father, Don Casiano—himself a winemaker.
This *Arautava Tinto Tradicional* represents the culmination of his tireless efforts to craft an authentic Listán Negro. The result is an exceptional wine that reflects, with stately character, the profound mineral richness of Tenerife’s volcanic soils.
It is produced using grapes sourced primarily from century-old vineyards, trained using the ancient *Cordón Trenzado* (Braided Cord) technique—a cultivation method native to the Orotava Valley.
We closely monitor every vineyard to ensure the harvest takes place at the precise moment of optimal ripeness. With every sip, this Listán Negro reveals its varietal character, evoking the Atlantic heritage of the wines from northern Tenerife.
