Vecchia Scuola Description
The Red Vermouth of Turin IGP "Vecchia Scuola" was created exactly as the recipe required, with the exclusive use of Piedmontese wine and with typical herbs of the Savoy territory, which grew and still grow lush in the countryside around the Turin area, on the hills of Pancalieri in particular: a perfect balance between gentle wormwood, Roman wormwood, balanced bitter orange from flowers, aromatic herbs and sweet spices, left in slow cold maceration. The "marriage" between the wine and this complex aromatic extract is long and is continuously monitored until it is ready for the final bottling.
Old School Vermouth gives enthusiasts back the forgotten flavors of an authentic, traditional and pleasant vermouth as an aperitif, after a meal or for the creation of timeless mixing classics such as Negroni or Americano.
