Legend has it that Don Melchor de Santiago Concha y Toro, who founded Concha Y Toro in 1883, created the wine called legend of  "Casillero del Diablo" when he spread rumors that the devil lived in the cellar to keep strangers away from his private reserve. 

Fast forward to 2015, when the winery is the official wine sponsor of Manchester United Football Club.
